Metalac Bojler is the owner of the certificate for the integrated Quality Management System and Environmental Protection Management System ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
International standards ISO 9001 define the requirements related to the quality management system in a business organization, which the organization must fulfill in order to harmonize its operations with internationally recognized norms. ISO 14001 standards refer to the field of environmental protection management and help organizations to minimize the negative impact of their operations and processes on the environment, that is, to harmonize their operations with applicable laws and regulations in the field of environmental protection.
Metalac is the first company in the former Yugoslavia to receive an ISO certificate – in 1994, Metalac received the JUS ISO 9001 certificate for the complete production program, and in June 1996, an international certificate with the seal of the German TÜV. As a separate company within the Metalac Group, Metalac Bojler received official certificates for integrated QMS/EMS in 2009, and the last recertification was performed in 2019.
The complete range of Metalac Bojler has met the requirements for obtaining the CE mark. The Conformité Européenne mark is a mark by the manufacturer that the product is made in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of the European Union, that is, that the product meets all essential requirements in terms of safety, health, environmental protection and other public interests.
Unlike the ISO quality standard, the CE mark is mandatory, which means that products without the CE mark cannot be found on the EU market. In this way, the member states of the European Union have ensured with their legal regulations and other measures that only products that do not endanger the safety, life and health of people are placed on the market and used.
All the tests necessary for the CE mark for boilers were carried out by the accredited Slovenian company “SIQ”.
